07/17/2017 - College PREP - Rindge, NH Brady is a talented shortstop prospect who has a lean, athletic build and graduates in 2020. As a right-handed hitter, Brady has a square stance with a centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and square stride as his lower half leads his swing. Brady has an on-plane swing path and maintains a level swing path through the zone. Brady has a repeatable swing and produces square contact. He has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Brady plays with active footwork and agile actions taking the correct angles to cover good ground. He presents his glove and fields the ball athletically with a quick, clean exchange. Brady has a short, quick arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He has a quick release and his throws have online strength across the diamond. Overall, Brady has a good approach on both sides of the ball and upside to take his game to the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
