07/10/2023 - National Showcase - Cleveland, OH Brady is a talented OF/LHP in the 2025 class. In the field, he shows solid routes to the ball. He works inside the baseball and creates a solid glove lane. The pocket is clean and his exchanges are solid. He uses a long high 3/4 slot to redirect the baseball back to the dirt at an 80 velo. On the mound, he shows a 4-pitch mix from a 3/4 slot. His FB sat 75 and was in the zone. Has two breaking pitches (CB/SL) and the velo off-set his FB. (SL 67/CB 58). CH showed signs of sinking action at 65. Working to command the off-speed will be a key point as he advances. At the plate, he shows strong balance and rhythm. He keeps his hands inside the baseball well and proves to be a full field hitter. Barrell is on-plane and gains extension. Overall, Brady is a solid two-way player and scouts are eager to see his development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
