Official Scouting Report

01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Brady is an athletic OF/RHP who had a strong showing at the AZ Preseason event. This 2023 grad showed increased metrics from his previous event. In the field, he demonstrated a strong/fast (86 velo) accurate arm with a clean and loose arm slot. He moves well (7.13 60 yd) and covers a lot of territory. Can work on staying lower in his fielding position to allow glove pocket to be in front of body. On the mound, he operates with a 3-pitch mix. His FB topped at 80 with solid command. His CB sat 65-66 with 11/5 shape and his CH sat 70-72 with deception. His mechanics are clean and repeatable. Displayed above average control on his off speed to compliment his FB. At the plate, he begins with a tall/open stance and uses a short stride to track the baseball well. Brady has a solid future in from of him as a two- way prospect.

06/21/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Brady is a OF/RHP prospect in the class of 2023. He shows off good athleticism and strength throughout his initial testing. In the field, he uses active feet to help create range for himself. Fields from an athletic position and does a good job securing the baseball throughout the transfer process. Has a clean arm action with a high arm slot. Throws are on line and accurate into the infield. At the plate, he shows a level bat path and extension through the baseball helping him create square contact. Does a good job of utilizing the whole field and working gap-to-gap. On the mound, he delivers all pitches from a high arm slot. Does a good job of showing clean mechanics with good direction towards the plate. Consistently gets on top of the baseball and works downhill. Fastball is his best pitch, was 80-82 MPH and showed good arm side run. Curveball was best secondary and was 60-61 MPH with 11-5 shape. Could see great improvements on the mound with added arm strength. Brady is a well-rounded player with 2 years to continue to develop before entering college.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
