01/19/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Bradyn is a 2028 SS/C who showcased his talents in front of scouts at the BF Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At SS, he starts from an athletic position on the balls of his feet. He has effective footwork and is agile to both sides of the ball. He fields from a low-athletic position and has soft hands. He throws from multiple arm slots, has good accuracy and good carry across the diamond. At the plate, he has a tall-open stance and a small load. He get square with his stride and has controlled rhythm. Bradyns swing path stays on-plane and he made consistent contact during batting practice. He showed some gap-to-gap power and had an 80 mph top exit velocity. As Bradyn continues to mature we see him having continued success on the baseball field.

06/12/2023 - National Showcase - Orange County, CA Bradyn is an athletic C/3B who has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed in the 2.18 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are clean and present out front. Range will increase as he improves his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. With 5 years to further develop, Bradyn has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
