09/05/2021 - All-In Membership - Richmond, VA Braeden is a RHP/3B prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Braeden gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with his chest square to his target. Braeden operates with a four pix mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph with arm side run. Curveball sits from 59-60mph with 10-4 break. Slider sits from 61-62mph with 10-4 break. Splitter sits from 58-60mph with good downward movement. Extending through his release can help Braeden improve his pitch command and velocity. In the field, Braeden shows active footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line across the diamond. Braeden can field ground balls more efficiently by getting into a lower fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a short stride. He shows fluid rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed and produces loud line drives. Activating his hands in his load can help Braeden generate more pop off the barrel. With three more years to develop, Braeden has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
