01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Braedon continues to excel on the diamond, showcasing his well-rounded baseball abilities. In the outfield, he moves with smooth, fluid actions, using his active footwork to get behind the ball and play through with momentum toward his target. His glove work is clean and well-presented out front, and his range will expand as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, Braedon displays a squared setup and consistently utilizes all fields with a line-drive approach. His lower half works efficiently through the swing, generating power through an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, his arm strength has improved, reaching a top velocity of 62 mph. His fastball sits in the 61-62 mph range with sinking action, while his breaking ball shows a 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, which features slight sink. Braedon attacks hitters effectively, consistently throwing strikes with all his pitches. As he continues to build arm strength through a long toss program, his stock on the mound will continue to rise.

11/02/2023 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition Braedon continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active but needs to work to get behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 53-56 mph. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Stock on the mound will continue to increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/27/2023 - National Showcase - Missoula, MT Braedon is a 2029 RHP/OF prospect from Corvallis, MT. In the OF, he shows off active feet and takes good routes to the baseball. He does a nice job of getting behind the baseball and getting in a low fielding position, and fields the ball out in front with firm hands. He throws from a 3/4 slot and makes accurate throws to his cutoff. He works hard on getting a good first step. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and has a short stride with a good load. He keeps his balance centered through contact and has a firm frontside with his lower half. His hips work through contact and he finishes his swing strong with a nice line drive approach. On the mound, he throws from an over-the-top slot and features a 3-pitch mix. He works low in the zone with his FB and his splitter has some good movement/speed difference. He extends through his release point and has a solid frontside. He has a nice, controlled landing and lands closed to the plate. We are excited to see more of Braedon at future events as he continues to develop!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
