11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Delray Beach, FL Brandon is a C prospect who will graduate in 2024. Behind the dish, Brandon shows efficient footwork and centers the ball when blocking. He sits in a square stance and receives with a firm glove. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and keeps his throws on-line to the 2B bag. Getting rid of his throws quicker can help Brandon throw out more base runners. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a short swing with fast bat speed, producing strong line drives. Brandon can barrel up more baseballs by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With three more years to develop, Brandon has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
