12/20/2014 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Brandon is a very knowledgeable player who competes at a high level. He possesses the ability to get good jumps and take good routes in the outfield. He is sure handed and feet work well. A good daily throwing program will help to develop a more rhythmic arm stroke and make his throws even stronger. Offensively he has all the tools present to make an excellent hitter. He has rhythm, tracks well, hands work effectively and good balance. Developing the ability of his bottom half driving his hands to the ball will elevate him to the next level. On the mound Brandon works fast, throws strikes and works inline to the plate. A daily throwing/drills program will help make his balance point more consistent.

09/28/2014 - College PREP - New Orleans, LA Brandon is an athletic OF who has a solid all-around skill-set. With the bat, this righty shows an open setup with good balance. He gets good hand separation, back into a loaded position. He generates torque with bat speed to create pop off of his bat. He hits the ball where it's pitched and has the ability to spray to ball to all parts of the field. In the OF, Brandon takes a good first step with solid routes/angles to get behind the fly-ball. He is aggressive and plays through the ball well, working in-line toward his target. Brandon has the tools that will provide success on the diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
