12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Brandon is a tall/ broad 2024 3B/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. At 3B, he starts from an athletic position, has active feet, and has a great first step. He makes good reads and takes direct angles not taking many extra steps. He throws from a ¾ arm slot with accurate throws. At the plate, he has an open stance and a comfortable hand slot. Brandon has an activated load with little wasted movement. He has fast hands and good hand-eye coordination making consistent hard contact. On the mound, Brandon has a FB that sits 69-70 mph and a breaking ball that had good depth to it. During the game, he had a pair of hits and a walk and several other hard outs. We are excited to see how Brandon continues to improve going into his senior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
