10/21/2012 - College PREP - Louisville, KY Brayden is a solid, athletic catcher that will graduate in 2016. Feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times show a range of 2.25-2.45 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he continues to build more arm strength through a long toss program. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. At the plate, Imel shows a balanced approach with rhythm. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact, mainly to the pull side. For hitting grades to continue to improve, he needs to work on keeping hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. With 4 years to further develop, Brayden has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
