04/05/2024 - The Preseason All-Ripken Games - Myrtle Beach At the PreSeason All-Ripken Games, Brayden performed very well for his Freedom squad. His presence at the plate was LOUD and included 2 HRs, 2 doubles and a triple. He racked up the RBIs by utilizing his pull-oriented aggressive approach with runners on base. Brayden uses leverage and bat speed to drive the ball and gets good extension in his finish. Continuing to work on head discipline and using the whole field will help him as he faces better pitching. At 3B Brayden showed athletic actions and a good glove. He makes routine plays with dependable hands and has arm strength across the diamond. That arm was on display when he pitches as well, running his fastball up to 58 mph and dropping in a curveball. He is confident on the mound with sound, repeatable mechanics that led to consistent strikes. There is a lot to like as we look to the future of this young prospect. We look forward to watching this impact bat continue to develop.
