03/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Hartford, CT Braydon is an athletic 6’1/190 RHP prospect in the 2023 class. On the mound there is a lot to like about Braydon. He generates outstanding balance over the rubber and has great timing on his separation. Arm circle is quick and clean and his live arm has full extension. Consistent with his delivery to produce strikes to both sides of the plate and in the lower half of the zone. Operates with a 4-pitch mix from a high ¾ slot. Throws a 2 and 4 seam FB with a high spin rate and arm side run at 82-85. CB sits 69-71 with 12/6 shape and SL sits 75-6 with sharp late break. His CH sits 76-7 with run and FB deception. As a hitter, he is very athletic. He generates pop to the pull side from a tall and squared stance. Has solid hand separation and his timing is smooth. Maintains balance and a quiet head for pull side power. Overall, Braydon is a next level player who will continue to improve and he works on his craft.

09/22/2021 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Braydon continued to showcase his baseball tools at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. On the mound, he shows a controlled, repeatable delivery allowing his quick arm action to work well to the plate. In 5 innings of work he was very effective throwing strikes by fanning 6 batters with zero walks. Fastball showed a range of 77-82 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Slider is harder with tight spin and short break. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. He shows a great feel for pitching and maintains composure on the bump. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

03/13/2021 - Spring Pro Training Experience - MD (HS) Braydon continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting/power potential has improved, now displaying outstanding hitting/power abilities an open setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 78-80 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his split finger with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. He struck out 6 of the 8 batters he faced during the weekend as well.

09/23/2020 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Braydon continues to show as a prospect on the diamond and battled during his time at the Arizona Fall Classic. He had an impressive outing, throwing a complete game with 8 strikeouts and only allowing 1 hit. He mixed his pitches, kept hitters off balance and gave his team a chance. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 82 mph. Fastball showed a range of 78-82 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches, working to get ahead in the count. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Braydon continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Preseason Rookie All American. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 70-72 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Braydon is an athletic RHP/1B prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. On the mound, Braydon starts with a small rock step and gathers over the rubber. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, driving his lower half well. Braydon shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 71mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits at 58mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits at 59mph with sinking action. In the field, Braydon shows active footwork and fields in a square position. He throws from a 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate and strong through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He rotates his core well and makes solid contact. With four more years to develop. Braydon has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
