04/23/2017 - College PREP - Fayetteville, AR Braydon is a lean SS who will graduate in 2020. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. At SS, he displays clean actions. Feet are aggressive but he needs to attack balls more and play through with his body. Glove action is firm but will benefit by presenting more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. With 3 years to further develop, Braydon has abilities with time and room to improve his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
