12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Braydon is a left-handed pitcher and outfielder from Wilkesboro, NC, who will graduate in 2026. He recently worked hard to refine his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Baseball Camp. On the mound, Braydon has a strong presence and excels at pitching backwards, consistently working ahead in the count and attacking hitters with his curveball. He pitches to contact with a downhill motion, and with a long toss program and additional weight training, he can further develop his arm strength. At the plate, Braydon starts in a closed stance with a small hand load and stays centered at contact. He shows excellent awareness of the strike zone, drawing two walks during live game action. In the outfield, Braydon demonstrates good agility as he works through the ball smoothly with a clean exchange off his right foot. His loose arm action allows for accurate throws into the infield, making him a reliable defensive presence. As a junior with an athletic frame, Braydon has ample room for continued growth and development, making him a player to watch in the coming years.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
