11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Brayley is a lean, athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays OF. On the mound, Brayley stands over the rubber well balanced, he has a loose/quick arm action, and he separates his hands on time. He works well to his balance point, works in solid tempo, and land with a proper length stride toward home. Brayley has a FB that touches 84 MPH, and his off-speed compliment it well. More lower body and not falling off will help solid mound effectiveness get even better. In the OF, Brayley has fluid footwork, a presentable glove, and a low fielding position. He charges ground balls aggressively, his exchange is clean, and he throws with momentum and accuracy to his target. Offensively, Brayley has a tall stance, he loads well, and flashes a quick barrel. He has fast bat speed, he can spray to all fields, and he uses his lower body. Improved timing, a shorter stroke, and not spinning off will help improve offensive numbers.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
