His easy sit and ability to track the ball with precision are complemented by a quick transfer and fluid footwork on throws to second base. With his best pop time recorded at 2.19 seconds, his throws are consistently online and feature a quick release. Defensively, Brendan showcases impressive lateral range and a soft chest when blocking, allowing him to handle a variety of pitches effectively. At the plate, he starts in a crouch stance and separates his hands well, maintaining a direct barrel path for square contact, particularly to the pull side. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
