Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now an above average runner at 7.19. Behind the plate, feet are active as he gains ground and works through a clean / transfer exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.05. Arm strength is at well above average with throws displaying life, accuracy and on line carry. Hands are soft as he lets the ball travel and tracks well, sticking in the zone. He shows off his athletic abilities through the blocking process as he is a wall behind the dish. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. At SS, feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is clean and he presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, hitting / power potential have improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.
