06/23/2023 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series Brennen is a 2027 OF who showcased his skills during the BF Select Training at The College World Series. In the OF he shows athletic actions and willingness to make adjustments. He works behind the ball, with good body control, and fields from an athletic/square fielding position with sure hands out front. Creates momentum on his throws into infield with an arm velocity up to 69mph. At the plate he hits from a wide and even stance with loose hands. He tracks pitches well and showed good plate discipline. In live game action he made consistent contact and reached base via a base on balls. Brennen adapted well to every situation and made steady improvement during his time in Omaha. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

12/18/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Chandler (Phoenix), AZ Brennen is a class of 2027 OF. A young/developing player with some strength present with room to add throughout. In the field, he does a good job of getting his feet moving with a simple prep step. Does a good job of keeping balls in front of him with ability to make routine plays. Gets good reads off the bat and takes good routes towards the baseball. Keeps his momentum going and uses clean transfer to create good throws with an arm velocity up to 61mph. At the plate, he shows a balanced swing and simple approach. Did a good job getting loaded and into his backside. He showed ability to hit the baseball to all parts of the field with a bat exit velocity up to 61mph. Brennen is a well rounded player with 4 years remaining to develop his abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
