Brennen continues show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate hitting / power potential has improved through a crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. In the OF, defensive abilities are solid as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind ball and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 71 mph. FB shows a range of 68-71 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with tight spin and gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Brennen is an OF/LHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Brennen shows quick footwork and moves well to his glove side. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making on-line throws to his target. Taking a more efficient first step can help Brennen make more plays. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a crouched stance and gets into his load well. He works to barrel up the baseball and sprays the ball to all fields. Brennen can create more consistent contact by maintaining center balance throughout his swing. On the mound, Brennen operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 66mph. Breaking ball sits from 55-57mph with 1-7 break. Changeup sits from 56-58mph. Striding inline toward the plate can help Brennen improve his pitch command. With five more years to develop, Brennen has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Brennen is an OF/LHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All-State Tournament. In the field, Brennen shows active footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them consistent to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a closed stance and is smooth to load. He works through a level swing and hits against a strong front side, producing consistent contact to his pull side. On the mound, Brennen operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 55mph. Slider sits from 49-50mph. Curveball sits from 45-47mph. With six more years to develop, Brennen has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Brennen is a class of 2027 LHP/OF prospect. In the field, he does a very good job of getting himself in a ready position. Reads the ball well off the bat and shows good range to both sides of his body. Does a good job of creating momentum to throw and his throws are on target. Also does an excellent job of getting behind the baseball and working through it. At the plate, he starts in an athletic stance. Does a good job of hitting into a firm front side. Shows the ability to hit to multiple parts of the field. Brennen is a talented young prospect with a bright future that we hope to see more of.

Brennen continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to increase foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 49-52 with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Brennen is a coachable OF/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Select Training & Competition in Arizona. In the field, Brennen moves light on his feet with good first step quickness. He fields in an athletic position and makes a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws with carry through his target. Continuing to add strength can help Brennen build up his arm velocity. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with is lower half. He stays compact through the ball with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and strong line drives. Brennen can barrel up more baseballs by getting more extension through his swing. On the mound, Brennen is controlled gathering to his balance point and works with a loose arm. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 52mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 43mph with 2-8 break. Extending through his release more can help Brennen improve his pitch command. With seven more years to develop, Brennen has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Brennen is a hard working OF who continues to progress. In the OF, he has active footwork with a quick first step as he hustles to track down fly-balls. He does a good job of working behind the ball and through it toward his target. Transfer is clean with accuracy on his throws into his target. As a hitter, this lefty displays an open stance with active hands. He takes a hack, barrels the ball up and sprays line-drives. Shortening his stride (avoid lunging) while engaging his lower 1/2 will help to improve power at the plate. Vega (2027 grad) is still very young and has a ton of time to develop his tools and physical mature (get stronger).

Brennen is a young, lefty, 2-way player who plays OF and LHP. Defensively, Brennen shows active feet, firm hands, and a low fielding position. He gets good reads off the bat, goes back on the ball well, and his exchange is quick with an accurate arm to his cut off man. On the mound, this RHP has good mechanics, he throws strikes, and he finishes completely. At the plate, Brennen stands in athletically, he takes a square stride, and swings in good rhythm. He swings on plane, works the ball gap to gap, and he uses his lower body. Brennen can get better with work on the following.
