Brennen is an athletic MIF prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Brennen shows active footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to great gap to gap power (87mph exit velo). Overall, Brennen is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

DP turns are quick with zip (87 mph velocity) on his throws. Defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows big play potential. Brennen is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who showed well during the Arizona Fall Classic. In the field, Brennen shows active footwork with great first step quickness. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is quick and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He gets his hands activated on time and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud contact and great gap to gap power. On the mound, Brennen gathers over the rubber and is fluid separating his hands. He works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate. Brennen shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 83mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 69mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits at 74mph with late arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Brennen is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Brennen continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. At SS, he displays clean/smooth actions with big play potential. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up and plays through with his body. Glove action is firm and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 82 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Changeup shows sinking action as he maintains arm speed. Stock to the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Brennen continues to show the makings of a special type player and promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft sure and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Hands/feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and on line zip (87 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Fastball showed a range of 78-80 mph with cutting action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
