Official Scouting Report

01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Brian is a 2026 3B/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At 3B, he has a good first step and active feet. He is aggressive towards the baseball and picks out hops. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has good accuracy on his throws across the infield. On the mound, Brian showed a fastball that sat 72-75 mph, a curveball with 10-4 break, and a changeup that was 59-60 mph. Brian has a clean arm action and projectable body. At the plate, he starts from an athletic stance and has smooth rhythm. He stays on-plane and keeps a firm-front side. In game, he reached base several times with a walk and a pair of singles. As Brian continues to mature, we foresee him continuing to develop as a baseball player.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
