08/04/2010 - College Prep Super Regional - Middletown, CT - PM Brian is a short, stocky, 2-way player that plays 3rd base and RHP. Defensively, Brian presents his glove well, he makes plays, and gets good momentum toward 1st base. He has an accurate arm, but will need to get his glove down sooner, field the ball further out in front of his body, and quicken his feet in order to get better. On the mound, Brian throws down in the zone and repeats his delivery well. He throws strikes with all of his pitches, which have good A/S run. Mound effectiveness can get better if Brian can lengthen his arm action, improve his glove side lead, and finish off his pitches better. Offensively, Brian has average balance, a level approach, and he finds the barrel of the bat. He can spray the ball to all fields, but will need to keep his hands high, shorten his stroke, and use more lower 1/2 in order to get better.
