07/17/2010 - College PREP - Costa Mesa (Los Angeles), CA Brian is a big, strong, projectable, RHP who attacks hitters. Brian's has a FB touching 86 MPH which has late life and A/S run. He has a quiet head, good glove side lead, and good arm speed. Brian maintained his velocity during all of his innings he and he did a nice job working both sides of the plate. Brian has a good presence on the hill and he will be a nice player at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
