As a left-handed hitter, Brian has a tall, open setup with his weight in the front of his stance. He has fluid rhythm with a smooth load and square, long stride. He has a strong lower half and uses it throughout his swing. Brian has a long swing path and shows some barrel accuracy. He has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Brian plays with active footwork and agile actions taking the correct angles to cover good ground. He fields the ball athletically and makes the routine plays. He has a clean exchange and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the baseball showing strong, accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound, Brian has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. He keeps his eyes on his target and has an effective front side. Brian stays square to home plate with a controlled landing at the proper stride length. His fastball has sink and tail action. Brian also features a deceptive changeup with movement and medium breaking curveball. Overall, Brian plays the game the right and can impact the game in multiple areas giving him a bright future on the diamond.
