10/07/2018 - National Tryout - Parker (Denver), CO Brice is an athletic OF prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Brice shows efficient footwork and fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Brice improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He gets into his load well and maintains center balance. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed which leads to solid pop to his pull side. Driving his lower half more can help Brice improve as a hitter. Overall, Brice is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
