10/03/2010 - College PREP - Boise, ID Bridger is a young OF with a thin, athletic frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature, filling out. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 7.21 60 time. Feet are active in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls in the OF as he works to get behind, playing through with momentum to his target. He is aggressive on his approach to and through ground balls. Arm slot is over the top with throws showing carry, flashing carry as he will benefit by getting on a long toss program to aid in building more arm strength. Offensively, Feigt loads well allowing his hands to attack the baseball. He maintains balance and uses his lower half well through the swing. Swing path gets long with barrel getting out around the ball, creating a pull type swing. With 2 years to further develop, Bridger has abilities with time and room to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
