12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Bridger is a 2029 2B/RHP out of Victor, MT who showcased his skills during the BF East Coast Winter Classic. At 2B he works to create good fielding angles and has efficient footwork. Shows a good internal clock as he gets rid of the baseball on time. A right-handed pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch. Has a good mound presence with a sure demeanor. He attacks hitters with a FB that sits 65-67mph with plus command, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with good depth, and a changeup that he throws with FB arm speed. In an inning of work, Bridger didn't allow a hit and struck out a batter. At the plate he hits from a square and athletic stance with loose hands. He gets his hands separated and hits into a firm front side. Has a good lower half turn with ability to hit balls to all fields. In live game action he reached base 3 times with 2 singles, and a walk. Bridger has a great attitude with a strong desire to get better. We look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

08/27/2023 - National Showcase - Missoula, MT Bridger is a 2029 2B/RHP prospect from Victor, MT. At second, he does a good job of getting in a ready position pre-pitch and shows off quick feet with agile range to all angles. He gets in a low fielding position and fields with firm hands out in front. His backhand was impressive and smooth. He has a quick, clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. He does a great job of following his flips on double play balls. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and has a short stride with a good load. He has a firm frontside with his lower half and shows off fast bat speed. He works hard to stay direct to the baseball but does a nice job of letting his hips finish strong through contact. He sprays the ball to all fields with a line drive approach. On the mound, he throws from an overhand slot and features a 3-pitch mix. He does a good job of gathering his balance over the rubber and gets on-time separation. He extends through his release point and has a proper stride length to the plate. His lower half drives to the plate and he finishes with his chest over his front knee. He shows good control with all of his pitches and is very coachable on the mound. He throws his CB at a good speed and shows off medium break with the pitch. Bridger is a very exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of in the future!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
