08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Bridley continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, power potential is now outstanding through an open, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. In the MIF, he displays smooth / clean actions. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks and plays through with his body. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable, a very hard worker, and is a great team player.

01/22/2017 - College PREP - Jackson, MS Bridley is a solid, stocky 2B who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through a tall, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At 2B, feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Hands are soft / sure as he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turns of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Bridley has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
