05/14/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Tampa, FL Briley is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2025. Defensively at SS, he hustles hard as he tries to work into a square fielding position. He has a quick exchange and fires accurate throws across the infield. On the hill, this righty keeps his eyes locked in and delivers with clean arm action. He gets to a balance point, uses his lower 1/2 and stays directional towards home plate. With the stick, Briley displays an athletic setup and gets back into a load. He swings on a level path and drives pitches with pop to his pull side. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
