11/03/2024 - National Showcase - Sanford (Orlando), FL Britton is a 2026 catcher from Richmond Hill, GA, who is an impressive prospect with a tall frame and stout build that offers plenty of upside. Behind the plate, he presents a strong target and tracks the ball into his mitt with ease. His active feet and clean exchange generate solid momentum on his throws to second base, where he consistently posts a pop time of 2.2 seconds and can reach arm velocities up to 82 mph. His blocking technique is solid, maintaining good posture and covering the low balls with excellent hand positioning. At the plate, he starts from a crouch stance with clean hand separation, showcasing excellent rhythm and natural strength. His swing stays on plane, generating line drives into both gaps during batting practice. As a junior with a solid frame and room for further development, he has all the tools to continue growing into a well-rounded and dynamic player

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
