03/07/2010 - College PREP - Plainfield, IN Brock's 60 yard sprint time jumped nearly 2 tenths of a second since the Christmas camp. At 3B, he continued to show a consistent glove at 3B. He has a quality 3B arm with carry and accuracy. He showed a good understanding of the position on his 5-4-3 turn with efficient feet, exchange and delivery of the baseball that made it easy for the 2B to make the turn. Would like to see him play out in front slightly more which will help him stay through groundballs and gain momentum towards 1B target. Offensively, Brock displays a consistently flat bath path and a quiet approach. As he learns to utilize his lower half more efficiently, he will see more pop in the bat. On the mound, his lower half will need to become a bigger part of the delivery in order to make the jump that he is capable of making velocity wise. He shows some loose arm action, but will need to lengthen his stride and get better extension. With work, the potential for velocity increase is there.
