03/06/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Broderyk is a talented OF/LHP in the 2024 class. He has a great frame (6 foot 3, 180 pounds) that will attract the attention every time he steps on the diamond. In the field, he has aggressive feet and moves with great agility for his size. He fields in a squared position and works through the baseball on ground balls. Has pocket feel and transfers the baseball cleanly. Has a quick release and is accurate to his targets. Working to stay on top of the baseball will create more directional action and carry on his throws. One the mound, he displays great balance during his delivery. He operates with a 3-pitch mix from a high 3 / 4 slot. His FB topped at 71 with more in the tank. His CB (62-4) /SL (72-3) created 2/8 shape and was frequently in the zone. His CH sat 61-3 with tailing action. At the plate, he has an advance middle of the field approach. He has quick hands and a level swing path. He has smooth timing and engages his lower half well. Overall, Broderyk is a solid two-way player who is only scratching the surface of a very promising career.

01/26/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Myrtle Beach, SC Broderyk is a tall, 2-way player who plays OF and LHP. Defensively, Broderyk has active feet, a presentable glove, and he catches the ball at its highest point. He uses 2 hands, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy from a long arm to his cut off man. On the mound, this LHP has good balance, eyes on target, and he lands with a proper length stride toward home. Offensively, Broderyk has good balance, a square stance, and a short swing path. He shows some bat speed and makes consistent contact. Overall skills can get better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
