10/25/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Broussard, LA Brody is a versatile first baseman, outfielder, and pitcher who participated in the All Ripken Games in Lafayette, LA, and displayed strong skills across all areas. As a first baseman, he excels with good hands and solid footwork around the bag, consistently making clean scoops and showing great defensive reliability. On the mound, he pitches with a competitive edge, staying ahead of hitters and demonstrating deceptive stuff with a strong feel for pitching. At the plate, he shows smooth actions and good timing, with the ability to adjust and hit the ball where it's pitched. With more time and continued development, Brody has the potential to become an even more well-rounded and impactful player at multiple positions.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
