01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryce is an athletic and talented SS prospect. At SS, Bryce is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and has a good first step to the ball. He creates angle on the ball, has a 2 handed exchange, and makes accurate throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Bryce has good timing to the ball and he looks to drive the ball gap to gap. He has a simple load, rotates his backside through contact, and attacks the inside part of the ball. Bryce is a special athlete and we hope to see his progress in the future.

10/28/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Bryce is a tall, athletic, 2-way player with very good skills. At SS, Bryce has quick/fluid feet, soft/presentable hands, and he moves with good agility to the ball. He creates proper angles, his exchange is quick and clean, and he throws with carry and accuracy to his target. In the OF, Bryce attacks the ball aggressively, his footwork is fluid, and he fields in a square position. He has a loose/accurate arm with carry and direction to his cut off man. At the plate, Bryce has a square/athletic set-up, good balance, and quick/strong hands. He swings in good rhythm, makes hard/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. Overall skills can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
