12/20/2009 - College PREP - Agoura Hills, CA Bryce continues to show progress in his baseball abilities as he continues to grow and mature. On 12/20/09, Bryce worked about at just the C position, and showed both defensive and offensive improvements. Defensively, Bryce has quick feet, short steps, and releases the ball quickly and accurately. He blocks the baseball well, by centering the ball properly on his body, and by taking appropriate angles to the ball. His receiving grade improved from 45 to 50, as he continues to hold a soft, quiet target. Offensively, Bryce has good balance, bat speed, and good use of his lower 1/2. He again shows the ability to make solid contact and he shows a proper load. Bryce is a strong, and athletic hitter, with a good bat. His hitting grade improved from a 42 t0 45 since we last say Ely in 8/09. Overall offense can improve by becoming shorter and quicker with his swing. Bryce has shown a lot of improvement over the years, and we can could expect the same as he steps onto a College Campus.
