06/14/2014 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Bryce showed some of his best ability to date at the Omaha National World Series presented by Baseball Factory. Defensively, the backstop was soft to receive in his good setup and was balanced throughout. His feet worked well to go down and block and to get his body in line to throw - flashing pops in the 2.0 range. Becoming more vocal behind the dish and increasing his foot speed / agility will enable even stronger play. Offensively, he worked off his backside and was a gap-to-gap hitter within his approach, showing us improved power from his initial workout with us last November. Keeping his hands activated and staying strong with his lower half (not diving in) will increase hard hit frequency. In all - Bryce has great upside with his personality, playing ability, and work ethic. He will be one to watch.
