05/29/2021 - 2021 BF National Florida Showcase Bryce is a 2023 prospect with an impact LH bat! He had an impressive showing at the Baseball Factory Florida Showcase putting on a display in BP with hard hit line drives to all fields and several long HRs to RF. He swings a heavy barrel and carried it over into the games with several hard hit balls and consistently competitive at bats. As a defender Bryce has sure hands and an accurate arm from 3B, and has the ability to play 1B as well. This is an exciting young player to continue to watch develop as he has the look of a middle-of-the-order bat at higher levels.

08/30/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Wilmington, DE Bryce is an athletic LHH 3B that shows as a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hands are quick (90 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip (83 mph velocity) on his throws. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Bryce has a ton of upside and possesses the skill set that will play at a very high level.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryce is a coachable 3B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Bryce shows active footwork and finishes plays well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws from over top and keeps his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a controlled stride. He is fluid getting into a simple load and takes a compact swing, leading to solid gap to gap pop. On the mound, Bryce gathers over the rubber and works inline towards the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 82mph. Breaking ball sits at 69mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Bryce is a talented prospect who should find success going into his freshman season.

10/16/2019 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Bryce is a coachable 3B/RHP prospect who showed well during the Arizona Fall Classic. In the field, Bryce is efficient moving to the ball and displays proper footwork. He fields the ball out in front of his body and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a relaxed stance and takes a square stride. He gets his hands activated on time and remains centered in his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. On the mound, Bryce gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, driving his lower half well. Bryce shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 66-70mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 70-72mph with arm side run. Overall, Bryce is a talented prospect who should find success going into his freshman season.

08/11/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Wilmington, DE Bryce showed a spike in hitting numbers to 45's and also raised arm velocity to 80 MPH during his last workout with The Factory. At 3rd base, Bryce has good actions, quick feet, and he covers ground. He has firm hands, makes plays consistently, and has a loose/consistent arm across the diamond. On the mound, Bryce keeps his eyes on target and shows a clean arm circle. He has a good mound presence, good movement on his pitches, and he competes in the zone. At the plate, Bryce has a square stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has strength in his swing, makes square contact, and he can hit to all fields.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryce is an atheltic 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. On the mound, Bryce starts with a simple rock step and gathers over the rubber. He separates his hands on time and stays inline towards the plate, showing a controlled finish. Bryce shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 69mph. Breaking ball sits from 54-59mph. With four more years to develop, Bryce has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Bryce is a coachable 3B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Winter Classic. In the field, Bryce takes a good first step and displays efficient footwork. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws with good carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a centered stride. He is controlled getting into a smooth load and drives through well with his lower half. He gets good extension with fast bat speed, leading to gap to gap pop. On the mound, Bryce starts with a simple rock step and gathers with a relaxed knee lift. He separates his hands on time and works with a loose arm, staying inline towards the plate. Bryce shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 55-56mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 60-61mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. With four more years to develop, Bryce has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

10/21/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Potomac, MD Bryce is a long, athletic, 2-way player who plays 3B and RHP. Defensively, Bryce has quick feet, presentable hands, and he fields the ball in an athletic position. He works around it well, his exchange is clean, and he throws with momentum from a loose arm action to his target. On the mound, Bryce has a loose/free arm circle, he separates on time, and has a controlled landing toward home plate. He keeps his eyes on target, and throws strikes. Offensively, Bryce has a tall set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has fast bat speed, a direct barrel to the ball, and he works it gap to gap; using his lower body. Overall skills can improve if Bryce can work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
