11/10/2024 - National Showcase - Marlborough (Boston), MA Bryson is an exciting shortstop prospect in the 2027 class, known for his impressive defensive skills and steady development. His pre-pitch motion is sharp, with active feet and strong body control, which allows him to get into optimal fielding position. He shows excellent funneling technique, consistently making accurate throws across the diamond. Bryson's ability to turn double plays with precision and good touch on his feeds highlights his defensive awareness and fundamental understanding of the game. At the plate, Bryson demonstrates a solid, balanced approach with smooth rhythm and excellent timing. Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
