11/02/2014 - College PREP - Vinton (Roanoke), VA Bryson is a RHH 2-way player (2B/OF). With the bat, this righty shows an aggressive approach as he's looking to swing it when he steps into the box. Swing path is level as he utilizes his lower 1/2 well. He is a contact type hitter and drives the middle of the field. Working back into a loaded position sooner will allow him to improve his timing and will improve his abilities at the plate. At 2B, Tomlin hustles into a square fielding position. He presents his glove and fields the ball out in front. More aggressiveness and playing through the ball more will help to improve his abilities at 2B. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and hustles into position behind the fly-ball. Solid routes/angles allow him to work into position behind the fly-ball. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength and will aid in his OF development. Only a 2018 grad - Bryson is a hard worker and has a lot of time to develop.
