05/28/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Bubba is an elite 2-sport athlete (QB committed to Clemson for both sports) who just has a knack for making positive things happen on the baseball field. There is athleticism and confidence to all of his actions, beginning with his delivery, quick arm and solid 3-pitch arsenal on the mound. He ran his fastball up to 92 mph while striking out 5 of the 8 hitters he faced. Bubba complemented the FB with sharp curve that had depth and a change with some late fade thrown with good arm speed. As a position player he has excellent eye-hand coordination giving him a feel for the barrel on both sides of the plate. He squared up several balls during the live at bats including a drive to the CF wall and a hard hit double into the RCF gap. To round out his game Bubba moves fluidly and efficiently in the infield and showed sure hands and a strong accurate arm across the diamond. Overall, this is a very exciting young prospect to follow closely!

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
