01/15/2018 - College PREP - Auburndale (Tampa), FL Caleb is an athletic and talented 2018 OF/RHP prospect. In the OF, Caleb has an active prep step and gets good jumps to the ball. He has good range and works behind the ball. At the plate, Caleb starts in a squared stance and stays balanced through contact. He uses his lower half and gets extension through contact. On the bump, Caleb keeps his eyes on his target and has good rhythm in his delivery. He hides the ball well and finishes over the front side. Caleb will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
