12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Caleb is a 2024 C out of Norfolk, NE who showcased his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. Behind the plate, he starts in a low position and presents a good target. With runners on, he does a great job staying in his strong base. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot and had a raw velocity of 71 mph. His best pop time of the event was 2.64 seconds. When blocking, he does a great job tracking the ball and keeping it in front of his body. At the plate, he has a narrow stance and simple load. He showed good consistent contact and has the ability to hit the baseball to all fields. In game, he reached base several times with a single and a pair of walks. Caleb was coachable, a team player, worked hard, and hustled during his time in Arizona. We foresee that Caleb will continue to catch the eyes of scouts going into his senior season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
