07/18/2024 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (HS) Cameron is a talented OF/LHP who is a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / easy actions. He shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry (95 mph velocity) through his target. He utilizes his foot quickness(6.72 60 time) in covering a lot ground. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting / power potential through an athletic setup. He gets his hands activated in his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with bat speed (81 mph exit velocity), leading to loud contact through a line drive approach. On the mound, he keeps his glove centered in his balance point, shows fluid hand separation, and an explosive lower half. He works with a loose arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He shows a 3 pitch mix, keeping hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 76-85 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Control is solid as he attacks hitters, works both sides of the plate, and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has very high baseball IQ, is coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. Cameron is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
