01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Cameron is a 2026 1B/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At 1B, he has effective feet and a good fielding position. His big frame gives a good target and he shows good feel around the bag. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has online throws around the infield. At the plate, he has tall-open stance and an activated load. He keeps a good center of balance and has minimal head movement. He tracks the ball well and has activated takes on pitches outside of the zone. On the mound, Cameron showed three pitches. He had a fastball that topped at 82 mph, a cutter that had some good break and he was able to throw for a strike, and a splitter that had good movement. Cameron worked quickly and effectively in his outing. His 2-seam fastball had good movement and had some swing and miss upside. With several years of growth and development, we foresee that Cameron will continue to grow as both a hitter and pitcher.

04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Highland Park (DFW), TX Cameron is a 1B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2026. Tall frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to add more strength throughout. At 1B, he starts with active/efficient feet and creates good fielding angles. Showed ability to pick out hops, with good glove actions, and fields from a square fielding position. Has a long/loose arm stroke with ability to throw from multiple release point with an arm velocity up to 85mph. On the mound, he has a projectible frame with long levers. He has a simple delivery and works with good tempo. Throws a FB that sits 79-81mph with good movement, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that flashes good depth through the strike zone, a 10/4 shaped slider with tight spin, and a splitter with good movement. CB was best pitch during his bullpen. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Short/square glide step, with quick hands, and intent in swing. Direct barrel path with ability to stay long and through the baseball. Hit baseballs hard into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Cameron having opportunities to play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
