12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Cameron is a 2029 C who showcased his skills during the BF East Coast Winter Classic. He shows an easy sit and presents a good target with pocket awareness. He tracks pitches well and creates momentum on his throws to second base. Made accurate throws to second base from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 75mph and a best pop time of 2.28 seconds. At the plate he hits from a relaxed and square stance with high hands. Shows fluid timing to his swing and gets on-plane early. Has a high finish and made hard contact to all fields. Cameron had to leave camp early as he became ill. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him at another event in the near future.

03/26/2023 - National Showcase - Marlborough (Boston), MA Cameron is a 2029 C/SS prospect from Hopkinton, MA. At SS, he shows off efficient feet and covers ground to all angles. He gets in a squared fielding position and presents his hands out in front while finding good hops. His exchange is clean and he gets the ball out quickly. Can throw from a variety of arm angles and makes accurate throws with momentum to his targets. At C, he shows off his athleticism with quick, fluid motions. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Recorded a best pop time of 2.32 seconds. At the plate, he starts with an athletic stance and gets a squared stride to the pitcher. He has a quick hand load and shows off smooth rhythm in his actions. His balance is centered and his lower half stays firm on the frontside. He stays compact and direct with his swing and shows a lot of intent. He is a line drive hitter with a little bit of bat whip and squares the ball up consistently. Excited to see more of Cameron at future events!

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
