01/15/2010 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2010 Cameron is a two-way player at 1B plus on the mound with a big, thick frame that shows projection. Feet are active as he displays above average speed for his size / positions. He shows proper footwork around the bag with soft and sure glove action. Offensively, Sorgie has quick hands with strength in his swing as the baseball jumps off his bat, creating backspin. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 82-87 mph with occasional run. Off speed pitches are solid showing potential to be quality pitches at the next level. Cameron has abilities both on the mound and at 1B, possibly being a two-way player at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
