12/20/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Carter is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who showed well during the Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, Carter shows smooth footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with life through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and works to barrel up the baseball, spraying the ball to all fields. On the mound, Carter gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Carter operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 86mph with arm side run and sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 67-72mph with sharp 11-5 break. Overall, Carter is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

08/09/2021 - All-In Membership - Rochester, NY Carter is an athletic SS/OF prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Carter shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension, producing loud contact and gap to gap power. Overall, Carter is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his strong foundation of skills.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
