09/29/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Case is in the 2027 graduating class and is a promising left-handed pitcher and first baseman who demonstrates a strong command of his skills. On the mound, he showcases good tempo and effectively keeps his fastball down in the zone. His coachable nature is evident as he consistently maintains proper stride length and executes a fastball, curveball, and changeup with precision. At the plate, he stands out as a balanced hitter with a smooth, rhythmic swing. He excels at hitting to the pull side, getting on plane early and squaring up the ball effectively. Defensively, he displays solid glove actions at first base, making routine plays with ease. His footwork around the bag is impressive, complemented by his ability to stretch and scoop throws. With more time to develop, he has the potential to become a significant asset to any team.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
