04/16/2023 - National Showcase - Oklahoma City , OK Caydon is a class of 2025 OF prospect. Tall frame athletic build and strength present. In the OF, he starts with efficient feet and covers ground in all directions. He showed ability to play through the baseball and has a quick exchange off his left foot. Made accurate throws into infield from an over-the-top arm slot, with momentum towards his target, and an arm velocity up to 81mph. At the plate, he hits from an upright and even stance. A quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. Turns his lower half and is centered at contact. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Caydon making huge strides on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
