09/26/2010 - College PREP - McKees Rocks, PA CJ is a young, average sized, 2-way player that plays 3rd base and RHP. He currently projects even at both positions as he enters his Junior year. In the INF, CJ has good actions, life in his feet, and he keeps his eyes to the baseball. He makes plays, has a solid exchange, and he throws accurately with life in his arm. Average defensive grades can improve if CJ can field the ball further out in front, and avoid throwing against his body. On the mound, CJ has a compact delivery, a loose arm, and he repeats his delivery well. He gets to his balance point, competes in the zone, and has some life in his arm. CJ can improve on the mound with better command and by adding a CH. Offensively, CJ is currently an average High School hitter. He stays on top of the ball, he puts it in play, and can further improve with an earlier load and better extension through the baseball.
